Our Role as a Broker
OneStepLoan is not a lender. Instead, we are a fully authorised and regulated credit broker, connecting borrowers with lenders to facilitate short-term unsecured loan agreements.
No Hidden Fees
We never charge customers for using our broker services. Instead, we receive a commission from lenders, brokers, or alternative credit providers when a customer enters into a consumer credit agreement following an introduction through our platform.
Comprehensive Solutions
At OneStepLoan, we strive to find the best loan options for you. If we are unable to do so, we may redirect you to alternative firms or services. These include credit-building tools (which may charge a monthly fee if you choose to use them) or organisations that offer professional debt advice.

If you choose to proceed with an offer, the lender may carry out a full credit check which may be recorded on your credit file. Not all lenders offer amounts up to £5,000. Payout times vary by lender and depend on lender approval and bank processing times. There is no guarantee that an application will be accepted or that you will be offered terms that meet your financial needs.

Whichever lender or broker we introduce you to, we will typically receive a fixed fee from them. The lenders and brokers we work with may pay commission at different rates; however, this will not impact the amount you pay under your credit agreement.
